What bocky creates

One booked seat can become a recipe,
a reorder and another visit

Follow one guest from Shopify checkout to class to their next order.

1Books a class

On your Shopify store, through your normal checkout

2Arrives

You check them in from the live guest list

3Makes something

They make their own product, guided by a live flavour or aroma profile

4Recipe saved

Their recipe is saved to their Shopify account

5Shares it

They leave with a digital recipe card

6Reorders online

They return to the saved recipe and order it again

7Books again

They come back to make version 2

Booking software gets them there. bocky helps you turn the visit into a saved recipe, a reorder and the next booking.

The Creator difference

Guests make the product themselves. bocky saves the recipe.

In a bocky Creator class, each guest chooses ingredients, watches the six-axis flavour or aroma profile change live, then measures and makes the product themselves. bocky saves the exact recipe to their Shopify account, so they can come back later to reorder it or change it. The class does not end at the door. It becomes a product they can order again.

Ingredient stock in real measures. Track liquids, oils and botanicals in decimals, not boxes of ten.
Stock follows each creation. Pending creations reserve ingredients, paid creations count them down, cancellations put them back.

The maths

Earn from the seat.
Then earn from the saved recipe.

A saved creation can sell again

Guests reorder the thing they made without taking another seat in the room.

Your guest list becomes a customer list

Bookings, recipes and reorders stay tied to the Shopify customer record.

Quiet hours become bookable revenue

Turn evenings, weekends and slower retail periods into experiences sold through your own checkout.

The booking layer

Your Shopify product page can
sell seats, not units

bocky attaches a capacity-controlled calendar to real Shopify products. It comes from 7 years inside a working gin school that has hosted 35,000 guests. Shopify still handles checkout, payments, taxes and orders.

Bookings

Get them there

A capacity-controlled class calendar that lives on your Shopify product page and sells through your normal checkout.

  • Live availability with ten-minute checkout holds, so two carts cannot buy the same seat
  • Group bookings with purchaser details, attendee names, emails and your own questions
  • Recurring schedules, blackout dates and booking-window rules you set once, with future availability generated automatically
  • Handle check-in, no-shows and reschedules from one weekly operations calendar
  • A customer portal where guests fix their own details before your cutoff, not by emailing you
One guest, two records. A booking tool knows the seat. Shopify knows the payment. Your staff have to join them together. bocky keeps the booking and order together.
Counting seats in a spreadsheet. Your class has a fixed number of places. bocky sells those seats through the Shopify product and keeps capacity live.
Recipes lost after the class. A guest makes something they love, then the formula lives on a paper card. bocky saves the recipe to their Shopify account.
Cancellations that leave loose ends. When the booking and order are split, a cancellation sends staff hunting through two systems. bocky keeps the guest, session and Shopify order attached.
Paid bookings stay tied to the order

Shopify confirms the payment, bocky records the seat, and the order link stays with the guest. Anything that needs a human check lands in a review queue.

Moves check the calendar first

Move a guest to another session and bocky checks capacity before the change is saved.

Staff can book guests directly

Take a walk-in or phone booking, then raise the Shopify draft order on the spot.

Everyone sees the same time

Admin, storefront, cart and imports agree on the session time.

Emails leave a trail

Confirmations, reminders and staff alerts are logged, with retries shown when something fails to send.

Problems are pulled into one place

Import issues, notification failures, stock problems and webhook errors are visible before they reach the room.

Who it's for

For Shopify stores where people pay to make something

bocky grew up in a working gin school. The same setup fits roasters, wineries, perfumeries, candle studios and any Shopify venue where guests choose ingredients or materials, make their own product and take it home.

🍸
Gin schools

Botanicals become the library, guests build the recipe, and their bottle carries their name.

🥃
Whisky blending

Cask components become the catalogue and each measured formula is saved for later.

🍷
Wineries

Parcels and varieties become components, so guests can build their own blend and save it.

Coffee roasters

Origins and roasts become components, and the guest leaves with a house blend they made.

🌸
Perfume schools

Top, heart and base notes build a live scent profile as guests compose.

🕯️
Candle workshops

Waxes, wicks and fragrance oils become measured ingredients for a candle the guest makes.

🍫
Chocolate and food workshops

Origins, inclusions and percentages become a recipe guests can repeat later.

🏺
Studios & makerspaces

Any class with finite seats, guided steps and a finished thing worth recording.

Our story

Built inside a working gin school

bocky was built because we needed it. For 7 years, our gin school has used it to run classes where 35,000 guests have made their own spirits. The awkward parts were found in a real room, with paying guests in front of us and staff trying to keep the class moving. We are a venue that built the app we needed, then kept hearing the same question from other venues: can we use it too?

Switching?

Bring your booking book with you

Upload the file you already have: CSV, spreadsheet, JSON or calendar export. bocky reads BookThatApp formats, previews each session, shows matches, flags duplicates and keeps a full audit of what was imported. Most venues delay switching because the booking book is the scary part. bocky gives you a careful way to move it.

Fair questions

Before you add bocky to Shopify

What does it cost?

There are four plans with monthly prices in USD: Starter $4.50, Studio $12.50, Creator $37.50 and Creator Pro $74.50. Every plan starts with a 90 day free trial, for a limited time, and paying annually gets you two months free. Creator includes up to 75 booked seats per Shopify billing cycle and one Creator product. Creator Pro includes unlimited booked seats and unlimited Creator products.

Does bocky replace my checkout?

No. bocky attaches bookings, vouchers and creations to real Shopify products. Your customer still checks out through Shopify, so payment methods, tax settings, discounts, orders and customer history keep working as they do now.

Is this new software?

The Shopify listing is new. The software is not. bocky spent 7 years inside a working gin school, with 35,000 guests through the doors, and it still runs every class there today. You are early to the listing, not the software.

Can guests change their own bookings?

Yes, within the rules you set. Guests who are logged in can update their details before your cutoff. They can request cancellations or date changes for your staff to approve. Refunds stay a human decision on your side.

Do early customers get a say in what comes next?

Yes. The first 100 venues get direct access to the developer. Tell us what happens on your calendar, in your room and at checkout, and we use that feedback as bocky grows.

We aren't a winery, coffee roastery, perfumery, candle studio or tea house. Does Creator still fit?

Yes, if guests build a product from ingredients or materials. Creator can change the language around your class, so beans, botanicals, fragrance notes, tea leaves or candle materials all sit in a library with rules you set. Guests see the flavour or aroma profile change as they build.
