What we collect, in plain words

This page covers both www.bocky.co and the bocky app inside Shopify. bocky is operated by AZUA LLC. If you booked a class at a venue that uses bocky, that venue is in charge of your data: ask them first, and we'll help them answer.

The bocky app inside Shopify

• What the app handles. When a venue installs bocky, we process what the app needs to run their classes: store details, the products bocky attaches to, sessions and capacity, bookings and the orders behind them, attendee names, emails and answers to the venue's questions, saved recipes and creations, and the venue's ingredient libraries and stock counts.
• Whose data it is. All of that belongs to the venue. We process it on the venue's behalf to run the app for them, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, use it for advertising, or use one venue's data for another venue.
• Shopify's data rules. We honour Shopify's data request and redaction system. When a customer asks their venue for their data or its deletion, or a venue uninstalls bocky, we return or delete the data within Shopify's required timelines.
• Where it lives. The app and its database are hosted on Railway, Cloudflare carries our traffic, and Resend delivers the app's emails, such as booking confirmations sent for the venue. Data is encrypted in transit, and each service holds only what it needs.

What we collect on this site

• What you send us. If you request founding access or contact support, we keep what you submit: your email address, your message, and, when you arrive from the app's help button, your shop domain, plan and app version. That's how we answer you.
• How the site is used. We run our own small analytics: a first-party cookie with a random visitor ID, the pages you view, and the site you came from. It tells us whether the site works. It does not follow you around the internet.
• Email. If you write to hello@bocky.co, we keep the thread so we can hold a conversation like normal people.

What we do with it

Reply to you, run the founding program, and make the site better. That's the list. We don't sell your information, we don't rent it, and we don't hand it to advertisers.

Who touches it on our behalf

A few services help us run this site, and your data passes through them to do their jobs: Railway hosts the site, Cloudflare carries our traffic and routes our email, Supabase stores support tickets, and Resend delivers the emails we send. Each holds only what it needs.

How long we keep it

Support and founding-program records stay while they're useful for helping you, then they go. Analytics IDs are random and are not joined to your name.

Your choices and rights

Email hello@bocky.co and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it and confirm. No forms, no hoops. Depending on where you live, laws like the GDPR and CCPA give you these rights formally; we honour them regardless. If you're a guest of a venue that uses bocky, start with the venue, since the data is theirs, and we'll help them respond.

Cookies

One first-party analytics cookie, described above. No third-party advertising cookies. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

Children

This site is for people who run venues. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

When we update this page, we update the date at the top. Meaningful changes get a plain-language note, not buried legal edits.
